In the Woods, XOXO, Back to Basics and more!

Well, I can officially say I've exhausted myself with all of the projects I've been working on to share with y'all!  But in a good way, of course!  Where the begin, where to begin?  So much news!

First things first, my Etsy shop is now officially open for business!  I'm constantly adding new goodies over there, with my most recent additions including the first few packs from my new series, "Back to Basics."

"Back to Basics" is all about bright colors, simple patterns and versatile elements that you can use to build up your go-to stock and use over and over again, especially when you need that one element that the kit you're working with is missing something.  I LOVE these colors and hope you all will too!

I'm just about finished with the final touches on "XOXO" and will be sending it out to everyone who has donated this evening!!  WOOHOO!!  This kit is STOCKED!  112 papers, multiple alphas, countless hearts...it's amazing!  Here's a sneak peak at one of the alphas included in this mega.

XOXO and Donations:  It is imperative that I receive some form of donation for me to even continue designing at all.  I share freebies of over sized kits of HIGH QUALITY which are equivalent or better than those you possibly purchase.  They are also far greater than the quantity you should receive in a purchased kit.  I desperately want to continue my freebies venture but without donations when I have over 3,000 downloads per ITEM I've given away...it's not adding up.  It's also kind of insulting.  I understand how money is so very tight and that I'm a new designer and all of that but I've given out hundreds of dollars in freebies and a donation is very simple, not necessary, but the support is the only way to allow me to continue this venture.  I've opened my Etsy store simply for the same reasons - profit (if any) from that will go into this blog and your freebies.  I know...blah blah blah... but I do so very appreciate ALL of you and your sincerity, love, kindness and support.

Get Washi with it!

Ahhh Monday, yet again you arrive far too quickly.  How was everyone's weekend?  Who out there watched Beyonce Bowl?  I am and have always been a Beyonce (and Jay-Z) supported but just WOW WOW WOW, GET IT GURL!!  That performance was incredible and I have now posted photos from it on my refrigerator, pantry, tread mill...LoL  Oh and I guess there was a football game too?   Kidding, I was born and raised on football - what, what Pokes and Sooners!  Congratulations to all you Ravens fans out there!

Always a Bridesmaid...

How is everyone's Saturday going?  I spent mine having my measurements taken for the bridesmaid's dress I'll be wearing for my sister's wedding June 1.  Which was not nearly as painful as I thought it would be.  I made a point of telling the woman who took my measurements to not show me what they were, LoL.  I'm one of those people who finds the idea of Weight Watchers horrifying - simply because they do "weigh-ins" in front of the whole group?  Hell to the no!  I'm not sure how much my insurance will cover the eating disorder which will inevitably re-develop should I take part in that!  Okay, my weirdness aside, this is what my dress will look like:

Apparently the black and white boxes do NOT come with it so I was a little bummed...

Glitter in the Woods.

Is it weird that whenever I'm working on glitter I always find myself listening to Ke$ha?  She's just so darned enthusiastic about glitter, I love it!  When I start brushing my teeth with a bottle of Jack I'll know I have a problem. ;-)  Okay, back to the glitter!  This is my biggest glitter pack yet so get excited!  It's so big that I had to create two previews and two downloads because I couldn't fit it all into one.
