Be Mine Sale

One of the top things on my list of "what I would do with my Bazillions," has always been to persuade (or politely force) Harper Lee to come out of retirement and give me another novel.  With Miss Lee well into her 90s and my first Bazillion still out of reach, I was resigned to the fact that I should be thankful with what I have and re-read "To Kill a Mockingbird" for the millionth time.
And then...today happened.  (Pardon the bleeped cursing)

There I am still rubbing sleep out of my eyes, doing my morning routine check of CNN (and a few other less credible gossip sites) before I get up to take on the day, when suddenly "Harper Lee" +"new book" scrolls across my screen.

I was so absurdly excited that I didn't even register for the first five minutes that it was a sequel (technically prequel) to "To Kill a Mockingbird."  When I DID, in fact, register this...well...

Here's a link for everyone who isn't quite sure what it is I'm going on about :-)

Okay, now that I've got that  out of my system it's time to get back to the Scrapbooking.  Did anyone do a double take after the Super Bowl when suddenly you realized it's already February?  Seriously, where did January go?!  Well, like it or not, February is here and we're celebrating in style.

There are a bunch of Valentine themed kits available in the shop, including my newest, the "Love Game" kit.  You know what's even better?  I've whipped up a coordinating mini kit for you all!  You can snag it at the bottom of this post.

  4. Thanks for the beautiful freebies. Btw, I too am thrilled about the idea of a sequel (At long last!) to one of my all time favorite books, but just so you know, Harper Lee is not well into her 90's, she will be 89 in April of 2015, and is according to all reports, still as sharp as a tack. Who knows...perhaps a third novel? Wouldn't that be fabulous?
