It has been an emotional marathon, I can tell you that. I'm elated to share that my sister and her friends were safely evacuated from the brunt of Hurricane Patricia and we expect them home on Monday. After receiving this incredible news, my parents + sister & brother-in-law headed to Stillwater for today's Homecoming game against Kansas. While they are safe and unharmed, tragedy came to my beloved OSU as a drunk driver struck a crowd of students/alumni/supporters gathered round to enjoy the annual Homecoming parade this morning. I'm heartbroken for my school and praying fiercely for my OSU family. The past 24 hours have been absolutely insane and it will take time before I can kind of grasp everything that has happened but for now I just want to thank you all for your incredible support and ask that you extend your well wishes to Stillwater and the entire OSU family.
If it's okay with y'all I'm going to take a swift turn and get back to our regularly scheduled programming. I'll share more about Patricia, etc. in my next post but for now...let's just forget about it all and indulge in our shared love for digital scrapbooking. YAY!
If you remember, we were in the midst of the Woodland Tea Party giveaway before we were so rudely interrupted...but alas, we're back on track!
Here are the newest additions. Grab them while you can!
Stay safe and have an amazing rest of the weekend.

ReplyDeleteI have loved your designs from the moment I first found them, but did not know that you were a fellow Okie. I was heartbroken to hear of what happened at OSU. I am glad that your family is safe, both from the chaos at homecoming and from the hurricane. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. <3

ReplyDeleteHi Harper,
ReplyDeleteI love these papers---so sorry I missed them by an entire Fall crafting season! I am an Oklahoman who's been transplanted to Texas. It touched me to read your post about the tragedy at OSU, and it was a good reminder to continue to pray for those affected.
Blessings,
Christine
